David A Lane – contributed to research and the development of coaching as a profession, provided coaching to children and adults, in education, NHS and charities, the field of trauma and in a wide range of organisations including major consultancies, multinationals, and public sector and government bodies.
He was Chair of the British Psychological Society Register of Psychologists Specialising in Psychotherapy and convened the European Federation of Psychologists Associations group on Psychotherapy. He supported and developed accreditation systems for APECS, EMCC and WABC as well as research for BPS Coaching Psychology. He is Series Editor for Routledge Series, Professional Coaching, Focus on Coaching and Emerging Conversations in Leadership. Publications include many chapters and journal papers and books, The Case or Coaching, A Critical Introduction to Coaching and Mentoring, A Guide to Formulation in Coaching, Making Successful Decisions in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Constructing Stories: Telling Tales, Supervision in the Psychological Professions, CBT Supervision, The Modern Scientist Practitioner.
