Ethics is everyone’s business.
Join the conversation.
CEF Circles bring people together across cultures, professions and experiences to explore the ethical questions that shape how we live, lead and work.
These free, online gatherings offer a welcoming space to share perspectives, explore ethical dilemmas, question assumptions and reflect alongside others.
You don’t need to arrive with answers. Bring your questions, experiences and curiosity—or simply come ready to listen.
Different perspectives. Shared questions. Meaningful dialogue.
Our Commitment to Ethical Dialogue
CEF Circles are grounded in an ethos of openness, curiosity, respect and shared responsibility.
They provide a space where participants can explore ethical questions and professional challenges without the expectation of reaching agreement or finding a single right answer.
Our approach is:
- Ethics-first — placing ethical reflection, dialogue and discernment at the centre.
- Pluralistic — welcoming different perspectives, experiences and ways of understanding ethical questions.
- Cross-professional and cross-cultural — encouraging dialogue across disciplines, cultures and contexts.
- Reflective — strengthening our capacity to recognise, explore and respond thoughtfully to ethical challenges.
An important distinction
CEF Circles are spaces for dialogue and reflection. They are not supervision, professional assessment, legal advice, recruitment opportunities or forums for investigating complaints.
Our Circles Around the World
CEF Circles form a growing international network, bringing people together across regions, cultures and languages to explore ethics and ethicality through dialogue.
Each Circle is facilitated by volunteer professionals who are members of Ethics Forum International (EFI) and dedicated to the development of ethicality.
Circles are hosted regionally and, wherever possible, in languages that reflect their communities. Participants are welcome to join more than one Circle, connecting with different perspectives and experiences from around the world.

Reflect, Record & Recognise
Each time you participate in a CEF Circle, you’re invited to complete a short reflection through your CEF Dashboard.
These reflections provide an opportunity to capture your insights, questions and learning as you engage in ethical dialogue throughout the year.
Your annual CEF Ethics Circle Certificate records your participation, with a second page bringing together the reflections you’ve submitted, creating a personal record of your developing ethical awareness and engagement.
Certificates are available to download from 31 December until the last day of February of the following year.
